I'm posting a few things I've forgotten to post previously.....:) Above is Kandice's Lady of the Lake quilt hanging in her home. It's interesting to see how "our' block goes together in a quilt, don't you think?
This cute Santa hangs on the wall of Rita L's sewing room. I meant to post it with the holiday quilts.
These two cute poochies are on a quilt Rita J. made for her grandson Asher. She was working on it at a retreat in 2008 when this photo was snapped.

This is a great picture you took of my orange quilt. My sister helped me pick out the fabrics at Fabric Depot but I don't think I realized it was going to be an orange quilt until later. The border is all of you Ladies of the Lake posing as folks at a quilt show. The center blocks represent quilts that I have liked at quilt shows, with a twist to make them my own. It is called "the Quilt Show". My origonal idea was to make it possible to move the blocks around so they are finished, but that didn't work out very well so then I top stitched them on the base quilt which besides the border is made up of many different black squares. The blocks are all different with hand applique, pieced, hand quilted and machine quilted, depending on my mood. It is the kind of quilt you want to get up close to because of the small details. It was a fun quilt to make and now I need to have an orange room to desplay it in??? ~Sara
